Papers of the Pyrne range

Papers of high quality, saving of resources and waste prevention.

The particularly thin paper (18 g/m) of the Pyrne range will be the perfect substitute whenever thick paper is unnecessary. It can be the perfect replacement offering solutions of resource and energy saving. Where surface area is large, the Pyrne range enables the saving of resources.

Life cycle of Pyrne paper

1/ Raw material
The virgin paper pulp used for Pyrne is longer than recycled fibers in order to obtain a thin, high quality paper. It comes from durably managed forests in Scandinavia, Finland and Russia.
The paper pulp is transported by sea from Finland, then by truck to a PLM production site.
For the choice of whitening process, selected paper pulp is of ECF quality (Elementary Chlorine Free), that is to say oxygen-based whitening process, hydrogen peroxide and chlorine dioxide instead of elementary chlorine.

2/ Production
Production of Pyrne paper is especially sparing with resources and not very polluting. Waste for production of papers is 80% under our permissible values.
Suppliers of the firm are also selected for their environmental commitment: most of them have set up Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and are ISO 14001 certified.

3/ Transport
Pyrne Paper is transported by truck from production site to customer. Volume and mass are optimized thanks to the papers low weight.
The shipment process optimizes loading of the trucks.

4/ Use
The particularly thin paper (18 g/m) of the Pyrne range will be the perfect substitute whenever thick paper is unnecessary. It can be the perfect replacement offering solutions of resource and energy saving. Where surface area is large, the Pyrne range enables the saving of resources.

5/ End of life cycle
At the end of the life cycle Pyrne paper is 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable. There is a restricted impact on environment.
